For many years, this hotel, one of the first lifestyle hotels in Monaco, and originally co-owned by F1 and local, David Coulthard, had been synonymous with an eye for design, a destination for those in the know and a home away from home for the local community. A major refurbishment programme and development of residences shone a light once more on this unique property as being the place for those people seeking genuine Riviera style.
The reputation of this small Principality precedes itself. A playground for the rich and famous; superyachts line the port; fashionistas amble in opulence along boulevards that host the world’s biggest luxury brands; a year-round calendar of events from sporting spectacles to film festivals and everything in between. Not to mention the legendary casinos – the beating heart of the city.

Being part of the fabric of the authentic Monaco, a place frequented by those that live and work there, not just the tourists, a familiarity and warmth in tone has been important to maintain.
Even the naming of the restaurant, Tavolo (table in Italian) reflected an elegant exercise in restraint, the ultimate luxury where things simply just are.
